Heel pain is one of the more common forms of foot pain in adults. It can be felt either under the heel or just behind it. It can range from a mild discomfort to a disabling chronic pain. The heel absorbs the impact of the ground every step we take, and on average that’s 7,500 steps a day for a moderately active person.
